Oh you did the voice note thing! I think it's a nice format actually. I like voice memos tbh on messaging apps. Curious how others like it, but I think it works well.
Yes! You and MK inspired me--I'm thrilled you really enjoyed it. I am hopeful others will as well, sometimes it is hard to know. But I loved making it. Feels subversive here on Substack. :)
I found the voice memo refreshing as well and I’ve thought about exploring it with my publication. Thanks for the inspiration!
Congrats on 3.5yrs—I really resonated with your comment regarding “silence,” and having to learn how to be comfortable with it (and nothingness for lack of a better term)…neither highs or lows, just being. I hear in the rooms often that in any given month there may be 2 really good days, 2 really bad days, and the remaining 26 are just days. Recovery is about learning to live with days that are just average, boring, and routine.
Thank you for the voice note. I feel like nothing I do is important or relevant. I know that's OK. It's just good to be here. I don't need to be important. That's OK. Thank you.

Hey Anthony! I’m so pleased you found this refreshing—that is the best I could hope for. It’s a nice way to stay in touch with a very personal feel.
And you are so right, getting used to boredom and the mundane has been absolutely pivotal for my recovery.
Thank you so much for listening and taking the time to share with me. :)

Hey Julie, thank you so much for listening. It is so nice to hear from you, just to know you are here, in this thing called life, with me. :)
