We are in a lovely hotel room in Cambria California, packing up to leave after a wonderful Porsche club event spent entirely sober. Husband is at the desk getting back to a couple of friends. Birds are sitting quietly in their travel cage in front of the window. The room is humid from our showers. Gonna go get some breakfast and then enjoy a beautiful drive back to LA. Life is good. I'm no longer waiting to get sober. I'm doing it.
